He was referring to a survey that found 44% of account holders prefer Weibo, compared to 38% who prefer CCTV, for their news source. Often called the "Chinese Twitter," Weibo is believed to have thousands of censorship police monitoring and deleting unwelcome posts, but still, some items get by.
