Brem Foundation Projects
  • Biopsy and Diagnostic Procedures Fund - provide breast biopsies and other diagnostic services for uninsured and underinsured women who do not qualify for other programs.
  • Fellowship - to support a breast radiologist who will train directly with Dr. Brem with focus on Dr. Brem's protocols for early detection, patient care and community outreach.
  • Education and Community Outreach - Brem volunteers visit underserved communities in the DC Metropolitan area where no breast imaging facilities exist.  Women are given information and assistance in making appointments for free mammograms through George Washington University Medical Center's Mammovan program.  Brem Foundation hosts numerous educational gatherings throughout the DC Metropolitan area where Dr. Rachel Brem speaks about the latest research, emphasizes the need for early detection and shares general information for achieving optimum breast health.  The Foundation's newsletter and web site provide additional outreach and education.
  • Research - Brem Foundation supports Dr. Brem's research in advanced technologies for the most accurate diagnosis of breast cancer including screening for risk-based patients using automated whole breast ultrasound for women with dense breast tissue and molecular imaging to detect breast cancers which otherwise would not be identified.

100% of your donations go toward these projects.  Thank you for your support.
