95% Summit success - What's our secret?
This stand alone giant is one of the most accessible peaks in the world and a must for anyone wanting to trek to the summit of Africa's highest peak. In 2014 we helped an incredible 95% of our clients reach the top. Many people ask us how we achieve such a high success rate and the answer is simple; we allow enough time on the mountain to acclimatise and therefore make it safely to the top. If Kilimanjaro is on your HOT list make sure you check out how many days are spent on the mountain - a shorter itinerary may be cheaper but is less likely to result in you reaching your goal to stand on the roof of Africa!
Check out our Kilimanjaro guide to see why you should climb Kilimanjaro with KE, compare routes, the number of days spent on the mountain and our success rates. >> View all Kilimanjaro holidays >> Read Kili blog "What a difference a day makes" |
Our guy in India

Surviving India with our guy Kit
"In December, I was lucky enough to join our Best of Northern India tour of the 'Golden Triangle' cities of Delhi, Jaipur and Agra and including a visit to the holy city of Varanasi beside the River Ganges. The trip far exceeded my expectations, with comfortable hotels, great food and a riot of amazing spectacles. The Amber Fort at Jaipur, sunrise at the Taj Mahal and the very atmospheric aarti ceremony on the banks of the Ganges are experiences I will never forget". >> Read Kit's blog diary >> View Kit's India Photo Album

Morocco's Best Kept Secret

Mount Mgoun - a firm KE favourite
Morocco is a magical destination in both summer and winter, offering superb trekking and mountaineering on a diverse range of holidays. It's a big favourite for everyone including many of the KE staff. Our Operations Manager Tim Nichol, has trekked and climbed all over the world, but says that Mount Mgoun whether in winter or summer is still his favourite. Although the mountain is not particularly high or technically demanding, it offers excellent trekking and a fabulous 360 degree panorama of the High Atlas Mountains from the top. >> Read Tim's blog on Winter Mount Mgoun >> View all Morocco Trekking holidays

Love our Leaders
|
Love your feedback
One in three KE clients send in feedback at the end of their holiday. We always appreciate your views and are overwhelmed by how positive your comments are. Above all else we value our leaders, some of whom have worked with us for decades, so it's fantastic to hear you love them too. We recently received a letter from Gordon Eldridge, who joined our Costa Rica Walks and Wildlife Holiday over Christmas. We loved what he wrote, about our leader Joe Bernini, so much that we had to share it with you. >> Read about Joe Bernini in Costa Rica

Experts at hard, so easy is easy!
KE have always been market leaders for holidays at the harder end of the grading scale with high altitude treks and climbs but did you know we've got a much softer side? We have created 6 holidays in the Nepal Himalaya which are graded '1-3' meaning there is a high emphasis on 'discovery' with specially put together, easy day walks to get you off the main tourist trail. New for 2015, our Great Buddha Trail is a route exclusive to KE exploring many of the hidden highlights of Nepal and some of most important sites in the Buddhist and Hindu religions. >> View Easy graded holidays in Nepal
