March Newsletter
A Word from the General Manager

Greetings to all! Although February is a short month it has certainly not minimized the amount of activity taking place here in our office!

I would first of all like to thank all of you who attended the Minister Kevin Chief Luncheon held on February 12th. Thank you to Minister Chief for such an inspirational keynote address. Thank you to the Delta Winnipeg for your hospitality! The feedback we have received on this event was all positive!

The Aboriginal Chamber of Commerce has outgrown our space here at Neechi Commons and will be moving on May 1st to 207-1075 Portage Avenue. Thank you to Neechi Commons for housing us for this short period. We will certainly miss the hustle and bustle of activity that takes place at 865 Main Street.

The next event we will be hosting is a Lunch and Learn featuring Constant Contact who is responsible for our new design of the newsletter as well as our online registration program we are now utilizing for our events. Please be patient as we work out all the kinks during this process.

The ACC will be partnering with the Assiniboia Downs and Peguis First Nation to host "An Evening at the Races". This exciting event will provide all those in attendance the opportunity to mingle among business owners in a fun and exciting environment!

We have now scheduled our Gala Event for 2015. The event will be at the new Club Regent Event Centre on Friday, November 20, 2015.

To all of you who are anxious for the warm weather, get your registrations in for our upcoming Golf Tournament scheduled for June 16, 2015!

Please stay tuned for all of our new and exciting initiatives!
