Teachers: AHS's Secondary School Programs Working Group Needs to Hear From You
|
Do you teach harp in a secondary school setting, or know someone who does? Part time or full time? One student or many? Then our Secondary Schools Working Group wants to know more!
Part of AHS's mission is to empower the next generation of harpists. One avenue for empowerment is to understand the scope and availability of secondary school harp programs, and use that information to assist those teachers and other school systems in offering opportunities for harp study at a young age. The Working Group has created a survey for teachers in secondary schools to gather data about their work. It will only take a few minutes to complete, and the responses will be reported to the AHS Board to inform future AHS initiatives. Together we can work toward expanding opportunities for youth to study the harp.
Please access the survey here. Responses are requested by May 15th. Thank you for your input to this important project.
