Season's Greetings
Hope this finds you well and harping merrily in the holiday season. As we look ahead to 2015, we are grateful for your membership that makes the AHS such a wonderfully diverse organization. In this season of sharing, perhaps you might consider giving the gift of a membership to a friend or student. Thank you for your continued support and celebration of the harp.
Planning is well underway for a stellar Summer Institute and National Competition in Logan next June at Utah State University.

Our Fall 2014 Grants Program recipients have been announced here. Ten proposals were funded to support AHS chapters, new works, and student scholarships. Look forward to hearing some of the projects funded in Logan this summer. The next proposal deadline is March 15, 2015. Many thanks to the Grants Program committee, for their dedicated service to this dynamic program. It is an exciting time for the AHS.

We want to share news about our membership throughout the New Year. Upcoming harp events can be submitted online here as part of your membership benefits and you can check www.harpsociety.org to find out about upcoming harp events from all over.

In the spirit of the season, we hope you may consider giving to support the AHS. To quote former AHS President Lucien Thomson from the first issue of The American Harp Journal, "the more we give of ourselves, our talents, our abilities, the more happiness we find in life."
Happy Holidays!
