Atlanta in 2016!Atlanta

We are delighted to announce that the Georgia Chapter will host the 42nd AHS, Inc. National Conference in Atlanta - June 28th to July 3rd, 2016 - at the Emory Conference Center Hotel! Located next to Emory University, the hotel offers a tranquil setting, with all the amenities of the renowned university and this world city, rich in history, culture, and sights nearby. 2016 Conference Co-Chairs Carolyn Lund and John Wickey and the Georgia Chapter presented a beautiful proposal, and the Board of Directors accepted their invitation with enthusiasm. The 2016 Call for Proposals deadline is April 1st, 2015 online. Plan for Atlanta!

Please also make your plans to join us for the 11th AHS, Inc. Summer Institute and 21st AHS, Inc. National Competition to be held June 21st - June 24th, 2015 in Logan, Utah. The 2015 Organizing Committee has received many program proposals and has a game-changing event planned.

In the National Competition, you may hear some of tomorrow's stars, including the next AHS Concert Artist. Harp Talk Radio Series, a past recipient of the Grants Program, has just released Episode 13, which features 2009-2011 AHS Concert Artist Heidi van Hoesen Gorton, Principal Harp of the Toronto Symphony, who also  performed on the final Mardi Gras evening gala of the 41st National Conference in New Orleans.

We are at your service and welcome your thoughts. This month, there is an open call for suggestions for candidates whose interests and talents may well serve the AHS, Inc. Please click here and send nominations by December 1st. December 1st is also the deadline to nominate a deserving individual for the Lifetime Achievement Award. The recipient will be recognized at the 2015 Summer Institute.no

We also are now participating in the AmazonSmile program! As the weather cools for many of us and the season for thanks and giving heats up, we hope you may consider choosing the AHS, Inc. (EIN 13-6131860) as your designated charitable organization.

Thank you once again for your membership and support.

Warm wishes,
