Two MWRA Board Members Sworn In
Earlier this month, MWRA Board Members Jennifer Wolowicz, a gubernatorial appointee, and Andrew Pappastergion, an MWRA Advisory Board representative, were sworn in by Governor Baker. Congratulations to both members.

This is Mr. Pappastergion's seventh term as an Advisory Board Representative to the MWRA Board of Directors. Along with John Carroll and Joe Foti, Andy has served with honor and distinction.

Katherine Dunphy Not Seeking Reelection
as Chairman of the Advisory Board

Katherine Dunphy recently announced that she will not be seeking another term as Chairman of the Advisory Board.
Katherine is the longest serving Chairman of the Advisory Board, having first been elected in FY2001. She has also served as the Advisory Board's statutory member of the Water Supply Protection Trust.
She is a strong advocate for ratepayers and has been a major contributor to many of the policies and initiatives that guide the Authority and the Advisory Board.
The great news is that Katherine has decided to remain on the Executive Committee and as Milton's designee to the Advisory Board.

Nomination for the FY16 Executive Committee
All members of the Advisory Board who are interested in being elected or re-elected to serve on the Executive Committee, please contact Joe Favaloro (617-788-2050 or [email protected]) by September 10, 2015. A Nomination Committee will be meeting after that date to review each candidate.

More than 80 people attended the Advisory Board Field Trip, which included stops at the Clinton Wastewater Treatment Plant, the Wachusett Dam Walkway and the Cosgrove Intake.
