The Methodist Home of DC
A letter from the CEO of the Methodist Home

Dear friends and family of the Methodist Home,

November was quite the month here at the Methodist Home with a variety of different activities, events and seminars for everyone to enjoy. To start off the month we had a great visit with students from the Maret School, who met one-on-one with our residents to demonstrate their math & science projects, and to share stories. (See Featured Event, "Intergenerational Sharing" on the right).

Thanksgiving was a treat, and we enjoyed November's American Health Care Association Day of Service -- complete with Holiday Arts & Crafts and a Pre-Thanksgiving meal with our residents.

This month we are getting into the spirit of the holidays with a Holiday Lights Ride, the Maret School Holiday Play, Gingerbread House Competition, Resident Christmas Eve Party, and more! For a full listing of upcoming activities and events at the Methodist Home, take a look at the December Activities Calendar.

As always, if you or someone you know is interested in taking a tour of our community, please contact Diane Heyde at (202) 966-7623.

Happy Holidays!

On November 13th, the Methodist Home hosted the American Health Care Association Day of Service: Holiday Arts and Crafts in the morning with AHCA, followed by a Pre-Thanksgiving meal with residents and AHCA to say thank you for partnering with us and providing ongoing service for our seniors. We hope your Thanksgiving was as delicious as ours!
