IMPORTANT NOTICE!
|
You want your quilt to look fantastic. So do yourself a favor.
It might make things go a lot more smoothly.

NEW FABRIC
|
Check out these Moda Muslins with a high thread count (200 threads per inch). They come in bleached, cream, unbleached (natural), antique and tea-dyed hues.
There is even an extra wide muslin for those times when you just hate to have to piece the backing for a quilt.
These muslins provide a great neutral for a scrappy quilt made from softer, reproduction fabrics. Muslin is the classic backing fabric
for a traditional-looking quilt. Take my word for it: you need to keep several yards of one of more of these in your stash! If you like softer colors and romantic florals, you'll flip over Audra's Iris Garden, designed by Brannock & Patek for Moda.
We have jelly rolls and charm packs just ready for you to get started on your next fun project. See some of the jelly roll and charm pack pattern books below for inspiration! The jelly roll is $39 and the charm pack is $9.50. Each contain 42 unique fabrics.
This new line is in the store early for spring, with a coral & aqua color scheme and heart motifs just perfect for St. Valentine's Day. It's called "Flirt," and it was designed by Sandy Gervais for Moda. We have layer cakes & yardage. Come grab a few fat quarters! Check out the gorgeous mini-panel, which could be used for a small wall hanging of the beginning of a bed-sized quilt.

Here's the editor's pick for pattern books that use precuts such as charms & jelly rolls.
Simply Charming FUN from Moose on the Porch Quilts has 9 patterns that vary in size. A few use just one charm pack, some use a whole lot more 5" squares. Great for the person who loves to grab those little fabric collections, called "charm squares," and then wonders what to do with them. $18.00.
Simply Charming COLLECTION from Moose on the Porch Quilts has 16 patterns in one convenient volume. Some of the patterns in this book use just one charm pack, others use a whole lot more. You can buy multiple charm packs, or cut your own from yardage. $22.95. Love jelly roll projects and want some REAL VARIETY? You need Strippin' Time: Project of the Month by J. Jane Mitchell and Patsy Padgett. Yes, there are some wall hangings and table toppers in there, but you'll be amazed at the smaller projects that use 2.5" strips: An Ott Lite carrying case, an ironing board cover, small fabric boxes for your sewing room ... and other projects for your home, such as an apron and ruched flower wall hanging. These small, quick projects will have you making something new each month. Sixteen patterns/projects in all. $19.99.
