This magnificent sculpture arrived in the early morning hours on Sept. 9 to its permanent home in South Park.

We can't give enough credit to all the workers at the Waupaca Foundry, City of Waupaca, and volunteers, who created this impressive permanent community art project.

The Phantom Art Gallery (PAG), has moved to a different location in Downtown Waupaca.   
 
The exhibit is in the windows of the empty storefront at 110 East Union Street. (next to Weasels).
 
Art may be purchased from an exhibit by contacting PAG volunteers at Embellishments or 
Waupaca River Gallery & Gifts, 
both on North Main Street, 
Downtown Waupaca.

Kat Trio of Ekaterinburg, Russia

The Kat Trio will be presenting two concerts later this month.

 

On Saturday, September 27, 

they will treat you to a 

pre-performance recital, at 6pm with hors d'oeuvres, wine and beer.


The concert begins at 7:30 PM and includes works by Mendelssohn, Gounod, Whitacre, Bruch and Haydn.

Tickets $15 in advance.

$20 at the door


On Sunday, September 28, they will present a special children's concert at 4PM.


 The concert features
 the music of 

Disney Pixar Films.


Children's intermission activities include a children's petting zoo and cookie reception.

 PERCUSSION GROUP CINCINNATI
was founded in 1979 and consists of members Allen Otte, James Culley, and Russell Burge, all of whom are faculty members and 
ensemble-in-residence at the 
College-Conservatory of Music of the University of Cincinnati.  
Their daily rehearsal schedule is supplemented with the teaching and coaching of young musicians. Appearances in their national and international touring schedule have included the major cities, festivals, concert halls and schools of America, Europe and Asia. In addition to community concerts, workshops, and master classes, the Group regularly appears as concerto soloists with symphony orchestras, and has presented their program "Music From Scratch" to hundreds of thousands of children across North America.

An Evening with Doris Weed...Wonderful!

We had a delightful time at
 "An Evening with Doris Weed" this this past July.

We are happy to announce that over $1,000 was raised at this event. 

Monies raised help with the ongoing costs associated with the operation of the 
Phantom Art Gallery in downtown Waupaca.

Thank you to everyone who helped plan and promote this event.
