SRP gets kids reading
Another Summer Reading Program has flown by almost as fast as the summer itself, but - as always - the library is proud of all our participants and hope they continue to visit us throughout the year!
Thursday the library held its Top Reader Reception/Family Quest Celebration, where some of this summer's 260 participants were recognized for reading a total of 2,834 books! Anyone who logged their books received Paw Prints to be used at Ostrander or Leptondale elementary schools, so if you, too, kept a list of what you read during the SRP but were unable to make Thursday's event, you should stop by the library to pick up yours.
Many thanks to Perfect Combination Painting for donating pizza for the celebration!
