Break out the bubbly! SRP finale features Jeff Boyer
Jeff Boyer will be performing Bubble Trouble for the SRP finale Thursday afternoon.
It's hard to believe, but almost six weeks of the Summer Reading Program have passed, which means next week marks the season finale!
To celebrate the occasion, Jeff Boyer will perform Bubble Trouble at 3 p.m. Thursday, a blend of comedy, music, and, of course, bubbles! His young audience will be amazed as  he juggles and builds with bubbles, fills them with fog, and more!
The Top Reader Reception will be held before the show, at 2 p.m. There, this year's biggest readers will be rewarded for their efforts.
Remember that reading logs are due back in their folders by 8 p.m. Tuesday! At that point, every book, magazine, newspaper, etc., that's been read during the SRP must be logged in order to receive credit. If you've been selected as a Top Reader, you'll get a call Wednesday evening.
As usual, all of our readers are tops to us! It's been an awesome SRP, and we look forward to celebrating the last week with all of you!

New members needed for library board
Are you a forward thinker who's interested in building a future for the Wallkill Public Library? If so, then we need you!
The library's board of trustees has vacancies that need to be filled this fall. In order to be a candidate in the Sept. 30 election, those interested in running for the board must get a petition signed by 50 qualified voters (Shawangunk residents who live within the Wallkill Central School District). Petitions are available at the library and must be filled out and returned by 5 p.m. Sept. 10.
