Help for Disabled Dilworth Vets

Several organizations are interested in saying
"thank you" to disabled veterans who are Dilworth homeowners for their service to our country.
Members of these organizations, especially The Charlotte Dilworth South End Rotary Club, would like to serve these veterans by completing general yard clean up, trimming bushes, cleaning up leaves, cleaning out 1st story gutters, etc. No wood work or interior work is to be attended to, strictly yard work. Unfortunately there is no budget to supply new plants for this project.

Consistent with Rotary International's motto, this Service Above Self is available on a first-come, first-served basis for up to 4 disabled or elderly veterans who could use the service.

The work would be scheduled when the 4 veterans are identified, likely a Saturday in late January.  If more than 4 veterans need the service, a waiting list will be established and is a function of the quantity of volunteers. If you would like to volunteer or if you know of a Dilworth veteran who could use this help, please email Thomas Mussoni.

Thank you to our veterans!
