Update From the Executive Director

Mill City Commons' members are good neighbors. They support local establishments, volunteer their time and services in and around the neighborhood, stay up to date on various development projects along the riverfront and help and support one another.

As a service to the neighborhood, MCC offers its neighbors the opportunity to become a part of its Caregiver Support Group which will begin its second 6-week session this week. Information on this invaluable neighborhood service is listed just beneath this post. If you or someone you know would appreciate the benefits a group like this has to offer, please pass along the relevant information to them. Thank you!

Mill City Commons: We Learn. We Share. We Engage. We give.

Caregiver Support Group Launch
Wednesday, January 13, 10:30 am - 12:00 pm
Cobalt Condos 2nd fl Conference Room, 45 University Ave SE
Mill City Commons members have created a Caregiver Support Group and invite other caregivers to join them. This guided discussion group with professional facilitation was created to support MCC members and non-members who are or have been in a caregiving role. Caregiver Support Group members will share experiences, issues and concerns about caregiving as well as give and receive support around this critical role. Today's meeting will launch a three month series, meeting the second and fourth Wednesday each month from 10:30 am-12:00 pm. Participants will be asked to pay $60 for the three month (six sessions) series regardless of how many sessions they are able to attend. Confidential scholarships are available - contact Membership Coordinator Mary Texidor.  To enter Cobalt, buzz Tamra Nelson at the Cobalt Security Phone, take the elevator to the 2nd fl, turn right and walk to the end of the hallway.
