Great Decisions
Monday, August 3, 7:00 - 8:30 pm
Carlyle Great Room, 100 3rd Ave S
Wondering what MCC's Great Decisions program is like?  Join us for a bonus Great Decisions program presented by MCC member Bill Davnie.  America's modern foreign policy can be dated to the late 19th century, but took particular shape in the aftermath of World War II.  (The books Present at the Creation and The Wise Men
tell this story well.)  By 2015, however, the foundations of that foreign policy, rooted in America's economic strength and geopolitical position, may have become declining assets.  The evening will focus on changes over the past 70 years, and the challenges they pose to our inherited and ingrained understandings of the U.S. role in the world.  This program will be open to all members and their guests.  Marcia Townley hosts at the Carlyle.

MCC members sign up here; Guests email MCC.
