Update From the Mill City Commons Membership Coordinator

Yesterday I had the chance to watch MCC member Penny Hunt run in the National Senior Games 5K race at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds with a dozen MCC members.  It was inspiring to see so many athletes, ages 50 to 99 (yes, there was a runner in the 95-99 age bracket!) competing.  Congratulations to Penny, who placed 7th in her age category!  On Thursday, you can join us to cheer for MCC member Penny Winton as she competes in the 50Y swim at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center.  Details are listed below.  Minneapolis, St. Paul, and Bloomington will be busy this week as the three cities host more than 10,000 athletes from around the country - you can see the full calendar of National Senior Games events here.
