Executive Director Update
I'm in Chicago today and Wednesday attending a Midwest Village Gathering with other executive directors to share Village strategies, challenges and successes. Tonight I attend a documentary, Gen Silent, hosted by Lincoln Park Village that follows six LGBT seniors who must choose if they will hide their sexuality in order to survive in the long-term health care system. This 2010 film is being used in colleges, government agencies and health care organizations. It's sure to be enlightening.

A week from today we celebrate Mill City Commons with an anniversary party! This members only event is not to be missed. Please RSVP by this Thursday so we can have an accurate count for our caterer. You'll find details below. Hope to see you there!  -- Linnea
