Executive Director Update

An ad hoc committee of Mill City Commons members has been working with Kazoo Branding over the past couple of months to develop key messages to help us better communicate our "brand." A list of "Attitude Words" came out of the first meeting, and I believe they do a wonderful job of describing Mill City Commons members:
Engaged * Welcoming * Sharing * Talented * Wise * Fun * Connected
Tonight is our Last Tuesday Happy Hour and an opportunity to enjoy each other and celebrate our community.  You'll find details below -- guests are always welcome to this monthly gathering.

Photo Tips:  How to Make Great Travel Photographs
Tuesday, June 10, 10:00 - 11:30 am
Bottineau Library, 55 Broadway St NE
Do you ever come back from a fascinating trip with disappointing photographs? In this program, MCC Member Mike Rosen will share some thoughts and techniques on how to raise your image quality to the level of an art form rather than simply postcard-like snapshots. Mike is both a world traveler and serious fine art photographer. He will use some of his favorite photos from around the world to illustrate how you can become aware of, see the beauty in, and clearly define your subjects. Emphasis will be on "seeing" artistically and developing a vision for your photos, as well as composition basics. The program will not cover how to use your cameras, exposure settings or editing.
