A note from
Mill City Commons
Program Coordinator
Did You Know?
Are you feeling stressed by the demands of daily life? Tending to your spiritual life can reap benefits to your mental and physical health and improve your quality of life. According to an article from the Mayo Clinic, people who recognize themselves as spiritual tend to cope with stress better and heal faster from illnesses or addictions. Through our spirituality, we discover a sense of purpose in our lives, we allow ourselves to relinquish control and we experience greater interior peace. Feelings of isolation decrease as we deepen our spiritual lives and cultivate our relationships with family, friends, faith community and nature. |
