Executive Director Update
Do you know someone who would enjoy a membership in Mill City Commons? Send me their email, and we'll add them to our Mill City Musings address list. Then you can follow up with an invitation for them to join us for one of our events open to guests. We've set a goal of adding two new members each month. We'd love for you help us make or exceed that goal and bring us from 165 members to 200. We've learned that members are our very best advertisers. Thanks in advance for your participation!

A note from Patti Ries,
Mill City Commons
Program Coordinator
Did You Know?
The quality of resilience helps us to bounce back from adversity, maintain a sense of purpose, and grow stronger through life challenges and struggles. The Reynolds Foundation reports that older adults are often more content with their lives and have greater subjective well-being than those in other age groups because of strong resilience in the face of life changes and losses. Resilience can be strengthened through an optimistic attitude, effective coping strategies, meaningful relationships with family and friends, purposeful pursuits and an active, healthy lifestyle.
Growth in resilience promotes self-efficacy, perseverance, and positivity!
