And we will have additional monies to donate to their local food shelf. Thank you for making Mill City Commons fifth annual "Turkey, Dressings and Extra Helpings" campaign the best ever! Clothing and gift donations are being delivered this Thursday; groceries next Tuesday. Our volunteer slots for sorting and delivering are filled -- many thanks for your contributions! Did You Know?

The holiday season can be a time of great joy, but can also be a time of sadness. The loss of loved ones or changes in health can make it harder to enjoy holiday gatherings. The AGS Foundation for Health in Aging offers the following tips to help cope with the holiday blues: Get together and talk with family and friends, exercise, accept your feelings of sadness or loss, engage in volunteer work and drink responsibly. To help someone with the holiday blues, include them in get-togethers, lend a hand and be a good listener. Holiday blues are usually temporary and mild. If you experience more serious signs of depression, talk with a healthcare provider.
