Bloom Bed

    Bloom
     Bed

As of Spring 2011, Magnolia Gift & Garden is the exclusive supplier of the Bloom Bed A unique venture between our nursery and a Northstate lumber mill, these garden boxes are constructed of reclaimed FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) redwood, grown in California.  During the milling process, the rough-hewn (fully two inches thick by twelve inches wide) waste lengths are diverted and assembled to our specifications, yielding an exceptionally durable four foot by six foot planter.  Finished with a planked base raised on narrow skids, it is a non-permanent, rodent-deterrent garden bed with excellent drainage.  Available in one foot or two foot depths, the Bloom Bed provides all the benefits of raised gardening, the convenience of a modular design which can be configured in series to accommodate your site conditions, and the rugged natural beauty of redwood at an unparalleled value.  These hot-off-the-truck arrivals will go fast, so hurry in!  With one of the longest functional lifespans of any lumber, redwood boxes are an investment that will add dimension and utility to your landscape for many years to come.

It's that time of Year Again!

Available in the Egg Pot, as shown, and the Face Pot.  This vibrant, eye-catching glaze is at home in Modern, Tropical or Eclectic Gardens, and pairs well with lush, bold foliage.  Try blues and bright, clean greens with white, yellow or dark purple blooms.  A First Love Gardenia or Blue Angel Hosta makes a lovely combination in the shade garden.  Or, filled with a Large Leaved Philodendron, this collection is a striking and unusual lanai or poolside addition.

Easy Breezy Radishes

Pink Beauty Radish
Pink Beauty Radish
Want an easy tasty veggie to start from seed? Radishes are one of the easiest seeds to start in a winter garden. Don't say you don't like radishes until you have tasted them straight from the ground.  The taste is amazing! Tender and mild straight from your garden. When Radishes are hit with frost they become sweeter. Radishes are good for you too, containing potassium, Vitamin C and magnesium. We may be a bit biased but, it seems that when you grow it yourself most anything just tastes so much better! We carry both 'Pink Beauty' and 'Cherry Belle' Radish seeds.
