SAA Memberships & Renewals -- Membership Renewal Increases
ALUMNI ASSOCIATION BOARD VOTES TO INCREASE MEMBERSHIP TO $50/YEAR EFFECTIVE MAY 1. 2014
At a recent Shortridge Alumni Association Board meeting, it was unanimously voted that member dues will increase to $50 per year. This increase is the first since the SAA organized in 2007. The SAA Board continuously receive requests for financial support of student-related projects minimally or not funded by school departmental budgets for extra-curricular events, enrichment programs, and other special one-time events.
Each request for financial support is reviewed by a Board committee to determine if and at what level the SAA can support a student project. No activity is funded in its entirety.
As well, operational expenses of the SAA continue to increase for website maintenance, periodic database mailings, special alumni recognition events.
Look at your membership card for the expiration date. If joining or renewing online, please include your class year; ladies please include your maiden name. Example: Dorothy (Jones) Smith, 19xx, email and USPS mailing address.
Alumni Association membership is required for full access to the website.
Fees:
- One-year membership: $50 annual fee payable via PayPal or check
- Five-year membership (General Members for Shortridge Legacy Scholarship Fund) (see Feature Article) (payable to Shortridge Alumni Association; mail c/o 5030 Guion Road, Indianapolis, IN 46254 or pay online.
