Premier Lighting Case Study: Auto Dealership LED Lighting Solutions

Customer Profile:
Long's Auto Place is proud to have served the St. Paul community since 1981.
Goal:
Long's Auto was hoping to install a new outdoor lighting system that better accentuated their vehicles and facility, while also mitigating vandalism attempts.
Assessment:
The outdoor lighting system at Long's previously consisted of fixtures with metal halide bulbs and ballasts. The majority of these fixtures were using 460W each, while others were 210W and 295W. Outside of the inefficient nature of these metal halides, the amount of lumens put out from these fixtures was rapidly deteriorating. This resulted in not only a less than desirable look for their show cars, but the lack of uniform lighting coverage led to vandalism problems.
