Junior Cattlemen to Host 30th Annual Summer Preview Show on June 4 - 6

OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA., May 1, 2015  -  The Oklahoma Junior Cattlemen's Association (OJCA) will host their annual Summer Preview Show on June 4, 5 & 6 at the Grady County Fairgrounds in Chickasha, Okla.

"This year we are celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the event," said Dallas Henderson, OJCA program coordinator.  "We have several events for junior cattlemen to participate in throughout the year, but the Junior Preview Show is the most anticipated."

This three-day family event is much more than just a Steer and Heifer show.  According to Henderson, the event also features the Oklahoma Beef Ambassador Contest along with competitions in showmanship, livestock judging, quiz bowl, cattle fitting and a special event known as 'cow camp'.

"These events allow young cattlemen to cultivate leadership skills and exhibit their cattle while spending time with fellow junior cattlemen from around the state," Henderson said.
