Win a Traeger Grill and Support the OK BEEF PAC


OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla., January 5, 2015 - The Oklahoma Cattlemen's Association's Cattlemen's Leadership Academy is selling raffle tickets to win a Traeger Grill and accessories valued at $1200.00.  The proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the OK BEEF PAC.


The Treager Grill package includes the Texas Style Grill, two bags of wood pellets and grill cover.  One ticket can be bought for $20 or three tickets for $50.  Tickets will be sold from Feb. 9 through May 8.  The winner will be drawn at the May 8, 2015 OCA Board of Director's Meeting. The winner does not have to be present to win.


The OK BEEF PAC is the Oklahoma Cattlemen's Association's political action committee.  OK BEEF PAC funds are used to support political candidates who appreciate value and fight for a healthy thriving Oklahoma beef industry.  A strong and growing OK BEEF PAC is necessary in order to help elect candidates who are friendly and supportive of Oklahoma beef cattle ranchers and their livelihood.


The Cattlemen's Leadership Academy (CLA) involves 20 beef producers from all over Oklahoma who apply and are selected to participate in the elite program.  CLA is designed to develop young members through industry exposure, education and association communication.  CLA consists of a series of four seminars designed to expose participants to leaders from all segments of the industry.  The seminars provide participants the opportunity to further explore the cattle business, gain essential information and network with fellow CLA members.
