The Senior Vice President of Development at this cutting edge online protection service company partnered with Redfish Technology to recruit excellent java development talent. The company provides compelling security applications in combination with a messaging service where partners can integrate additional services and deliver targeted offers to their customers, capturing consumer mindshare in a fresh way. The company needed a server side web services Java developer with mad Microsoft and Linux infrastructure skills. The company is privately held, well-funded, growing aggressively, and shipping product; currently the company's applications are downloaded between 10-15k times per day.

Redfish recruited Aditi Bagade for her experience designing and developing multithreaded windows and web applications based on .net framework with C# as primary language; hands-on development of applications in WCF and WPF; with a deep knowledge Java as well. Aditi has successfully managed and delivered projects as a senior software engineer and has a decade of experience in multiple platforms, as well as a Master of Science in Telecommunications Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Telecoms. As a team player with a determined can-do attitude, fantastic technical knowledge, and great analytical skills, Aditi was a great match for the engineering team.

"I had a definite goal of working with a smaller company compared to my previous experiences. As soon as Logan from Redfish contacted me and filled me in on the details about the position, I knew I was interested. From setting up the interview process to getting the position, Redfish was very collaborative and always on top of their game. The communication between me and the company through Redfish was very smooth and hassle free. I will definitely work with Redfish in the future as well."

Don't Push Your Luck with a Leprechaun

Did you know that you need to be very careful when negotiating with a leprechaun? Once you catch him or her, make sure your three wishes are reasonable and count your blessings. Don't get ahead of yourself because you are "lucky".

Every leprechaun has a pot of gold. Irish fairies gave leprechauns magical powers to use against evil doers trying to capture them. However, leprechauns are very smart and can be quite mischievous...

4 WAYS TO UPGRADE YOUR CAREER:
HOW TO BE THE CEO

By Ruth Harris
 Corporate Ladder

Visions of corporate leadership and more zeros on a paycheck can help an entry-level employee survive the workdays. It's the "paying your dues" and "work hard" mentality that keeps employees on the lower rungs of the corporate ladder motivated for more. For someone who dreams of being CEO, how can you sprint to the top rungs of the ladder, rather than climb?

Justin Hutchens moved from being a resident assistant at an intermediate care facility at age 19 to CEO of National Health Investors at age 36. Hutchens shares with Forbes.com that his father's advice helped him fast forward up the proverbial corporate ladder. Always do your best, despite the level of your responsibilities, and take the undesirable assignments others wouldn't want. Broadening your skills, willingness to relocate, and flexibility are also top traits that can boost a person's marketability, says Hutchens.

Even if you're not making a steady vertical ascent up the ladder, lateral moves and positions offering growth opportunities can support career expansion, development and advancement. Here are more adjustments you can make in your profession to help charge ahead in your career.

WHAT TO INCLUDE IN YOUR COVER LETTER

When we published "What NOT to include in Your Cover Letter" and got more hits in a week than many of our articles have gotten all year! Thanks for the read!

This week, let's look at what you should include in your cover letter.

Excitement -

Convince the hiring manager that you truly want to work there. Tell them specifically why this is your dream job or why you think the company is the best thing since sliced gluten-free bread. Make it personal, make it compelling, tell a story that makes you stand out. If you can paint a picture that makes you look like the ideal candidate and the best thing since sliced bread, you've got an in. Show your excitement and make the hiring manager excited to meet you.
