HEALING CIRCLE

You are welcome to attend
the next Healing  Circle on Wednesday,

FROM 6 - 9 PM
SEPTEMBER 21, 2016
at  Asbury Tower,
1701 Ocean Ave.  Apt. 23 H
in Asbury Park, NJ.

PLEASE RSVP. Since the space is limited, I will need to know if you are coming. You can do this by e-mail [WASTEVENS@AOL.COM] , phone 732-284-9990, or text.

If I cannot accommodate everyone who wants to come on the date announced, I will offer a second date to those who call.

This is an opportunity to gather with other practitioners and share what is going on, ask questions, and receive support. It is also a time for both meditation and receiving Reiju and, of course, this is all followed by an exchange of Reiki.

Hope to see you there.

Click on the link below for directions and give me a call if you are having any problems.

There is a parking lot used by surfers and fisherman as well as others, opposite the front entrance of Asbury Tower, to the left of the boardwalk, which you can use FREE.

There are also parking spaces all around the building
which have parking meters.

Also a block down any side street, there is open parking.

It is a couple of blocks north of 404  5th Ave.  where we use to have it and you can easily see the tall building from there.

Feel free to call me if you are having any trouble.

The Sunset Ave. Bridge is also closed for repairs to add to the challenge -  but detour signs are clearly marked.

Just touch the #1 when you come into the main entrance and the security guard will let you in. Take elevator to 23rd floor.

Tai Chi Easy is carefully developed method and approach to Tai Chi and Qi (Chi) Cultivation that makes it easy, beneficial and fun from the very beginning.  The student does not have to devote years to learning the traditional 108 movement form or even the shortened (24,36,42)  form to enjoy the calming emotional and health benefits of Tai Chi.

Tai Chi can be done sitting, standing, or walking.  Movements may be done individually or in combination.  Since it is a mind/body integration practice, it can reduce stress, and create a state of relaxation and calm.

Come join us.  It is safe for people of all ages and levels of fitness as the movements are low impact and place minimal stress on muscles and joints.

Bill Stevens is a certified Qigong/Tai Chi teacher from the Institute of Integral Qigong and Tai Chi under the supervision of Dr. Roger Jahnke

Awakening the Healer Within:
Medical Qigong Practice Leader Certification Training

Friday, July 8, 6:30-9:30pm
Saturday & Sunday, July 9 & 10, 10am-5:30pm

Another rare opportunity to be taught by
Roger Jahnke, OMD
at the OPEN CENTER IN NEW YORK

Medical Qigong has powerful roots in both ancient healing traditions and in modern science. The Healer Within approach, developed from a Chinese medical qigong modality known as Bu Zheng Qigong ("Vitality Enhancement Method") helps the human body mobilize its own extraordinary self-healing capacity through four essential sets of practices:

Body postures and movements.
Breathing exercises
Self-massage techniques
Mental focus practices, including mindfulness meditation

In this training, we'll learn to create and teach mind-body practices that can be performed standing, sitting, or even lying down and can be tailored to the specific needs of any individual or group.

These practices restore and nurture a healthy balance of energy throughout the body, enhance vitality, strenghthen and calm the nervous system, still the mind and rejuvenate the mind and body. They can be used to great benefit in senior centers, yoga studios, hospitals, churches, after-school programs, coaching groups, etc.

The Institute of Integral Qigong and Tai Chi has trained nearly 1,000 teachers and practice leaders worldwide with its comprehensive training, research, and principles of mind-body practice and holistic living. This program gives you access to a follow up internet support program, web library and exclusive professional Facebook group.

Whether you are in a helping profession and want to learn powerful self-healing practices to share with your clients or community, or simply want to awaken your inner healer and achieve radiant well-being, this training will equip you with powerful wellness tools you can use for a lifetime.

5 REASONS SENIOR DOGS AND CATS
ARE EXTRA SPECIAL

Anyone who's loved a cat or dog into his or her golden years understands the powerful bond shared following years of weathering life's ups and downs together. And though our senior animals eventually succumb to health problems-a road not easily traveled- physical hardships don't alter the size of their heart or their capacity to love.

But you may be surprised by the age at which your best furry friend is considered a senior. Different breeds age at different rates: Irish Wolfhounds (so adorable!) enter their sunset years at the mere age of 4.5; other breeds, like Dachshunds, don't dip a paw into the next chapter until 11. (You can check your dog's breed here.) Cats become seniors anywhere between 7 and 10 years of age. Keeping up on well checks helps you stay informed.

No matter the breed, our senior animals are easy to cherish! Here are five reasons why I think they are awesome members of the family ...
