  • WARM COATS NEEDED! Each year, CCES supports the Hollis Academy community through gifts of warm coats in honor of St. Martin's Day. Lower School Chaplain Valerie Riddle will deliver coats on Monday, November 25, to Hollis. Coats in good condition for all ages, male and female, are needed. If you can help, please deliver coats to Ms. Valerie before November 25. More details on the All-School OCC.

Ian and Mrs. Burger spent last weekend at Anderson University for the Region I Honors Orchestra. Ian was co-principal of the 6-8th grade orchestra in the First Violin section. This is an outstanding achievement for a 6th grade student! Congratulations, Ian!

Josh Rogers, Andre Batchelder-Schwab, Taylor Jackson, and Maggie Ramirez were selected to the SC All-State Chorus. They also achieved the highest level of points to represent the SATB group at State this year! Congratulations, Josh, Andre, Taylor, and Maggie!

The Cavaliers continue their competition for the Upper State Championship! Join them this Friday, November 22, as they take on the Lamar "Silver Foxes" to decide Class A's Upper State Champions.

 

When: Friday, November 22,  

Where: Lamar High School (map

Game time: 7:30 p.m.

Tickets: *$7/person per League rules  

*(all fans must pay: students, Boosters, faculty, and staff)

Olivia Lucas '14! Olivia won the Girls Tennis A/AA individual state championship this past weekend in Columbia.

Announcements: 
There will be an informational meeting for anyone interested in playing on the JV or Varsity boys' golf team (grades 7-12). The meeting will be Monday, December 2nd, at 3:15 p.m.in the Upper School lunchroom.

The JV and Varsity Wrestling (grades 7-12) team will continue to accept participants to join the program up until mid-December.  Please contact Dylan Wajda at  wajdad@cces.org for more information. Practices are held in the Lower School Activities Room Tues-Friday 4:30-6 p.m.

*ATTENTION PROSPECTIVE CCES GIRLS TENNIS PLAYERS AND PARENTS FOR FALL 2014*

Girls Varsity tennis tryouts will begin on Monday, August 4, 2014.

Girls Junior Varsity tennis tryouts will begin on Monday, August 11, 2014.

With all of the talented players in the program, competition to make the Girls Varsity and Junior Varsity Tennis Team for the 2014 season will be strong. A prospective players and parents meeting will be held in the spring to discuss details of the girls' tennis program.
