The Arts



What's the latest in Arts?
This weekend! The Upper School Cabaret featuring music by the Upper School Choir, Bluebelles, a Cafellas, and the Cav Blues. Saturday and Sunday, November 16-17, 7:00 p.m. in the Upper School Dining Hall. Admission: $10.

Join the Cavaliers as they take on the Williston-Elko Blue Devils to advance in the Upper State Championships!

Where: Carson Stadium at CCES

Game time: 7:30 p.m.

Tickets: *$7/person per League rules  

*(all fans must pay: students, Boosters, faculty, and staff)

CONGRATULATIONS, CAVALIERS!!

 

The CCES girls tennis team defeated East Clarendon HS 6-0 on Saturday in Cayce to win the Class A state championship. This is our sixth girls tennis title in the last seven years!

 

Our boys cross country team finished in second place by two points at the state championship on Saturday while our girls team finished in fifth place. James Quattlebaum '14 set a personal best time on his way to winning his fourth consecutive individual state title.

Announcements: 
There will be an informational meeting for anyone interested in playing on the JV or Varsity boys' golf team (grades 7-12). The meeting will be Monday, December 2nd, at 3:15 p.m.in the Upper School lunchroom.

The JV and Varsity Wrestling (grades 7-12) team will continue to accept participants to join the program up until mid-December.  Please contact Dylan Wajda at  wajdad@cces.org for more information. Practices are held in the Lower School Activities Room Tues-Friday 4:30-6 p.m.

*ATTENTION PROSPECTIVE CCES GIRLS TENNIS PLAYERS AND PARENTS FOR FALL 2014*

Girls Varsity tennis tryouts will begin on Monday, August 4, 2014.

Girls Junior Varsity tennis tryouts will begin on Monday, August 11, 2014.

With all of the talented players in the program, competition to make the Girls Varsity and Junior Varsity Tennis Team for the 2014 season will be strong. A prospective players and parents meeting will be held in the spring to discuss details of the girls' tennis program.
