CareerLeader: Do it!
MBA recruiting happens at a fast pace, therefore getting focused on what you want to do early on will give you an advantage. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to reaffirm your career goals through a self-assessment tool designed for MBAs, CareerLeader. See the following directions for accessing CareerLeader.
  • Visit: https://www.careerleader.com/sign-in.html and follow the onscreen prompts to the NEW USER section of the page
  • Enter your email address:  xxxxxx@xxxxx.xxx
  • Enter your registration key:johnson-smile  (the hyphen is required)
  • Once you have successfully logged in and registered your account, you will be brought to your user dashboard.  There, you will be able to click on TAKE THE TEST for each of the three inventories (INTERESTS, MOTIVATORS, SKILLS).
After completing all three inventories, you will be able to view your personalized results in each of the six sections on the dashboard (for which there are buttons to click). Your printable personalized CareerLeader Report is available within the Toolbox section of the user dashboard. Contact the CMC if you have trouble logging in.

What else?
There are other things you can do to prepare for your arrival at Johnson.
  • Apply to summer camps and conferences as relevant. Note the early deadlines for some of these programs.
  • Put your resume in the Johnson format. Click here for a template. Your resume is not due to the CMC until October, but it may be easier to draft your resume while you are still employed and can access key data.
  • Start working on your PARs (Problem, Action, and Result). Your PARs will be the foundation for your interview and resume prep. Click here for a worksheet.
