UPDATE: Toward a Strategic Vision and Technical Roadmap for DSpace 
The DSpace Steering Group, working with the DSpace Community Advisory Team (DCAT) and DuraSpace, has organized an initiative to present a strategic vision and technical roadmap for DSpace, representing significant community contributions during the past two years.  

"Developments with DSpace and ORCID" Webinar Recording Available 
DSpace 5 brings native support for ORCID integrations, and existing code libraries can be easily adapted to take advantage of information from ORCID records and to support authenticated connections between author records in DSpace and ORCID iDs.

We are pleased to announce that DuraSpace and the VIVO Steering Group have appointed Dr. Mike Conlon, University of Florida and member of the DuraSpace Board of Directors, as the new VIVO Project Director. 

VIVO Strategic Plan Lays Foundation for 2015-2016 
During the past two and a half months, the VIVO Strategic Planning Group has developed a prioritized written strategy document for the VIVO project.

Open Repository Welcomes Another Georgia Galileo Knowledge Repository Member, Savannah State University 
At the end of 2012, Open Repository announced an agreement with five participating Galileo Knowledge Repository member institutions based in Georgia, USA, to build and host their institutional repositories.
