The Next Genderation: PBWC Conference, May 23, 2013
Lareina Yee, McKinsey & Company

What makes women thrive in the workplace?

Learn the facts from a McKinsey & Company study carried out exclusively for The Wall Street Journal.

The Professional BusinessWomen of California is delighted to announce Lareina Yee, Partner at McKinsey & Company and co-author of the report Unlocking the Full Potential of Women at Work, as a keynote speaker at the 24th Annual PBWC Conference, May 23rd at Moscone Center West, San Francisco.

Based on deep benchmarking of 60 companies representative of large US businesses, the study finds that almost all of the Fortune 500 -- and organizations of a similar size -- yield clear business benefits from gender diversity.

The report concludes that gender-diverse companies enjoy a wider, deeper swath of talent to solve problems and spark innovation and, in many cases, mirror the makeup of their own customer base. The McKinsey report shines a light on innovations in the talent pipeline and offers intriguing insights into practical steps that companies can take to advance their female employees.
