Sheryl Sandberg, PBWC Keynote Speaker 2013

Be inspired by one of Fortune Magazine's 50 Most Powerful Women in Business, and TIME's 100 Most Influential People in the World!

PBWC is pleased to announce the return of Facebook's Chief Operating Officer, Sheryl Sandberg - one of our most exciting and well-received keynote speakers from the past. Sandberg will headline this year's event, The Next Genderation: Unlocking the Full Potential of Women in the Work Place, May 23rd at Moscone Center West, San Francisco.

According to Sandberg, "Progress for women in the leadership ranks of every industry has been largely stagnant for the past decade. We can and must do better. The question we all have to ask ourselves is, 'How?'"

Sandberg's new book Lean In, tackles this tough question with wisdom, humor and cutting-edge innovation.

The first 2,000 attendees to register for this year's conference receive a free, hardcover copy of Lean In.

Register by December 1st and you'll also receive preferred seating in the keynote sessions and an opportunity to win a trip on American Airlines!

Prior to Facebook, Sandberg was Vice President of Global Online Sales and Operations at Google. She also served as Chief of Staff for the United States Treasury Department under President Bill Clinton and began her career as an economist with the World Bank. Sandberg serves on the boards of Facebook, ONE, The Walt Disney Company, Women for Women International, the Center for Global Development and V-Day.  She received both B.A. and M.B.A. degrees from Harvard University.
