Harvest Market Predicts a Sunny 2nd Week

Sunny skies and lots of market goodies are in store for you at the Downtown Elgin Harvest Market this Thursday, June 13, 9 am - 2 pm at 200 N. Grove.
Special events this week include a tree pruning discussion by Davey Tree Expert Company, music by Children's Theatre of Elgin (9:30-10:30 am) and Merv Collins (11 am -1 pm), a cooking demo and much more! In addition, this week features the debut of "Rainbowland: An Adventure at the Market," a nine-week kids program (grades K - 6) focused on healthy eating, being active, sustainability, agriculture, and time to shop and talk with vendors.

Our next Out to Lunch in Downtown Elgin takes place on Tuesday, June 25 at Noon at Al's Cafe, 43 DuPage Ct. This month's special guest speaker is Tim Williams from the Boys & Girls Club of Elgin.

Elgin Theatre Co. presents Love Letters

Elgin Theatre Company presents the Pulitzer Prize-winning Love Letters, an evocative and touching story of letters exchanged over a lifetime between two people who grew up together, went their separate ways, yet continued to share confidences. Performances begin on Friday, June 14 and run on weekends through June 30 at the Kimball Street Theater of Elgin Academy. Tickets are $12-$15 and can be purchased online.
