Now that Spring is in full swing and Summer is just around the corner we, as riders, are all eager to get out and ride more and further. I personally ride one of my two motorbikes every day to and from work, but also on much-enjoyed getaway rides at the weekend. Talk about a busman's holiday! As a longtime motorbike rider, I cannot think of a better way to clear the cobwebs than being astride my motorcycle for a quick day, weekend or week-long ride to another state....of mind.

I subscribe to notion of the All The Gear All The Time, better known as ATGATT, as a good preventive to injury, or at least reduced injury, in the event of an unplanned get off. Safety is about eliminating, or reducing as best you can, inherent risk. With that in mind I urge you to come down and try out some of the newly-arrived gear from BMW, such as the rugged new Streetguard, Boulder, Venting and Neonshell jackets, and the hip new Urban line of riding gear, from leather jackets and leather boots to stylish gloves, which complement the instant-classic, the cool, new R NineT Boxer. As well, Rev'it's line of Poseidon jackets and pants, Sand 2 jackets and pants, Enterprise overpants, and just in time for warm Summer riding, Tornado mesh jackets and pants for men and for women, as well as the nicely detailed, waterproof and ventilated Indigo jacket, made especially for women.

Also in the good news department, Schuberth North America have announced a fantastic demonstrator ride program for their excellent, full-face S2 helmets, and we have them in stock, in all sizes, for the entire month of June. Try one on for size, then take it for a day spin. Also, we have re-introduced the legendary, US-made Vanson line of leathers to our showroom, in a traditional cut black leather and in ventilated black leather, both styles now with elbow and shoulder armor. The musky, heady scent of the leather alone is enough to make me want to have access to one of these rugged leather jackets in my riding gear closet!

And lastly, as the Summer progresses you will notice we'll be undergoing a needed rejuvenation and remodeling of our facility, with a comfy new customer lounge, fresh and pertinent displays according to the motorbike's category; sport, adventure, touring, etc., and, more new bikes in our showroom.
