"For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and IN HIM all things hold together."

Colossians 1:16-17

A lot of us have been duped into thinking that the devil is winning. We've been duped into thinking that when it comes to the difficulties in our life whether they be physical, mental or spiritual, he has the final word. We've been duped into thinking that he is the final decision-maker about our joy, our happiness, our well-being, and our identity!

The Bible text above clearly indicates that Jesus is the head. That means that He is in charge over all power and authority. Jesus Christ has the ultimate say over Satan. He has the final word. Your present battle may have "a" word, or your boss may have "a" word, or your frenemies may have "a" word, or your present illness may overshadow you with "a" word, or that relationship with a spouse or a child may have "a" word.

Whatever it is that is holding us down and keeping us feeling like we are defeated does not have the final word. Jesus is the head over all power and authority. Jesus always has the final word over everything. Colossians 1:17 says "IN HIM all things hold together." Jesus Christ holds all things together regardless of what our present circumstances appear like. The key to our victory is our union with Christ. Just make sure you are IN HIM versus out of him. In Him and only our being In Him, IS OUR SECURITY.
