About the Class
A script supervisor is a member of the production staff who is responsible for making sure all the dialogue, action, and screen direction are recorded consistently throughout the production of a movie. Communication and attention to detail are vital aspects of this role and can prevent a lot of problems in post. This class will teach you how to maintain continuity on a film, how to line shots on the official shooting script so that editors can easily identify footage and how to fill out daily production reports.
Long time Script Supervisor SHARRON REYNOLDS-ENRIQUEZ will explain how she interacts with other departments on film and television sets and discuss changing technology and how it affects the job. Sharron will also share some insider tips gleaned from her many years working on large budgets film with A-list directors, actors, and producers.
