We at Pegasus Bookstores invite you to our seventh annual Holiday Party and Sale, Friday, December 9th. We'll bring out refreshments for our evening festivities, along with live entertainment at each store (see below).
7:30 pm Pegasus Books Solano hosts a holiday-themed First Person Singular event, Grief is Good: The Daily Existentialism of Peanuts. A live celebration of Charles Schulz's beloved comic strip, with music by Richard Leiter, pianist for the CBS Charlie Brown specials. Performed by Jarah Blum, Colin Johnson, Theresa Kelly, Sheila O'Toole, Brian Quakenbush, Stanley Spenger, and Jess Thomas.
6-8 pm Pegasus Books Oakland features the French café/ gypsy tango music of Trio Zincalo, with Colin Hogan on accordion, Jon Monahan on guitar and Celia Harris on violin.
Begins 6:30 pm Pegasus Books Downtown kicks off the festivities at 6:30 with an evening of music and literature. With musical performances by Alex Jenkins accompanied by Joe Eckhardt & Kaitlin McSweeny + Chelsea Coleman and Amanda DeMott. With readings between sets by local poet Mathew McCreelley. |
