San Francisco's Museum of the African Diaspora has honored First Person Singular with a request for an encore performance of Find Your Song: The Blues Arias of August Wilson. This will be held in conjunction with the museum's upcoming exhibit on Romare Bearden - one of Wilson's primary influences. In addition to the performance, Dr. Brandi Catanese of the UC Berkeley African American Studies and Theatre, Dance and Performance Studies Departments will give a lecture on Bearden's considerable influence on Wilson.
