NEWS & EVENTS
October 2006

Dear Booklover,
We're doubling Frequent Reader points this month, holding some wonderful events, and we've got some especially exciting books in the stores--some great, vintage science fiction at Pegasus Downtown and over three-thousand juicy sale books at all three stores. Come see!

  • National Paragraph Writing Month

To gear up for National Novel Writing Month, founded seven years ago by Chris Baty, we're calling for submissions to our own pre-event celebration--National Paragraph Writing Month, founded nearly five minutes ago.
Do whatever it takes to create one paragraph--skip work, forego showers, unplug the TV--and email it to us. If it's publishable on a rated-PG website, we'll post it, share it, pick our favorites and hand out gift certificates (with which you might buy No Plot? No Problem! by Chris Baty.)
