Join us for an evening with authors from Cloverfield Press as Justus Ballard, Henry Baum, Laurence Dumortier, Mary Rechner and Carol Treadwell read from their short fiction. Cloverfield press is inspired by the example of Leonard and Virginia Woolf's Hogarth Press which published works by visionaries as well as modern masters, combining them with the best of modern design. Current titles by Cloverfield include The Boy from Lam Kien by Miranda July, the writer/director/star of You and Me and Everyone We Know; and, shipping in May of 2006, Tony Takitani by Haruki Murakami. Pegasus Books Downtown, 2349 Shattuck Avenue, Berkeley. (510) 649-1320.

    Book Group Night
    March 29th, 7pm

Pendragon’s senior buyer, Christopher, will present books that would make great book group selections, on sale for 20% off at the presentation. This bi-monthly event also features free review copies, refreshments and great conversation. All are welcome; you don’t have to belong to a book group to attend.
