Thank you for buying Harry Potter and
the Half-
blood Prince at an independent bookstore. Not
only did we enjoy such a wonderful turnout at all
three stores, we really enjoyed the costumes,
the countdown to midnight, and the excitement of
finally delivering the book.

The City of Berkeley rolled out the big
equipment last
month and while we were quite concerned about the
disruption on Solano Avenue, we are pleased to
report
that the project is going quickly and efficiently, with
minimum inconvenience to the neighborhood and our
customers. As a matter of fact, we think it's some of
Berkeley's finest work. While upper Solano
construction
is scheduled to be completed August 8th, the street
is always useable in
the evenings and on weekends.
Are you a teacher? We have 2005 calendars
we’d love to donate for use in your classrooms. Just
show us some sort of ID or school stationery and
we’ll be happy to hand you a sack-full.
