College Journey

Girl Scouts entering seventh and eighth grade
Left brained or right brained? Exercise both with doctoral candidate Karen Doore! This jewelry maker and computer scientist will challenge you to explore math patterns in nature and learn how to use computer coding to manipulate those patterns. You will also have the opportunity to discover the ever-evolving world of material science as you use STEM to turn your pattern into a 3-D creation of your own! Register Now!

Dabbler Days

Girl Scouts entering sixth through eighth
We'll dabble in a wide variety of fun, hands-on activities and STEM projects! FBI agents will even help you earn your Special Agent badge and on Friday we will take a field trip to learn about careers in the STEM industries. Come join us and experience the fun of Dabbler Days! Cadette College Journey
Session 1: July 21-22 at Camp Whispering Cedars
Session 2: July 28-29 at Camp Whispering Cedars

This overnight experience allows Cadettes a taste of college and camp as they tour the Mt. View College Campus and spend the night at our very own Camp Whispering Cedars! Girls will make s'mores, participate in hands-on STEM projects, earn a portion of the Breathe Journey, attend a star gazing party, and more! Camp ReMIX

A new spin on camping! GSNETX is partnering with Shoulders of Giants to bring you fun, engaging summer science at Camp Whispering Cedars! Try your hand at fascinating experiments and take home a piece of the fun! Pack a lunch and join us for a full day of summer science fun! Mall Madness
Saturday, July 26 (10:00 p.m.) - Sunday, July 27 (6:00 a.m.) at Golden Triangle Mall, Denton
Anyone who participates in Early Bird Spring Renewal is invited to our Mall Madness event. Stores are going to stay open late for just for Girl Scouts. Service Unit Synergy Retreat

Summer Hours and Closings for Inventory and Audit!
Closed Friday, June 20 - Saturday, July 5
Please make sure to check the website for summer hours for each location. This year all stores will be closed from June 20 through July 5 for a major inventory and audit. If you need anything for camp, please make sure to get what you need before June 20. *Exceptions:JoAnn Fogg location will be open Sunday, June 22 from 11:00a.m. – 12:30p.m. and Sunday, June 29 from 8:00a.m. – 9:30a.m. for camp bus drop-off.

You can always shop 24/7 at www.girlscoutshop.com.

Mobile shops at Camp Bette Perot and Camp Gambill will be open for a limited time based on camp bus drop-off hours. Contact your shop for details.

The award will recognize outstanding Girl Scouts who are making a difference in the community and exemplify courage, confidence, and character. Troop Camp Training
Three new double sections of Troop Camp Training have been added over the summer months and are now open for registration. Certification is required before taking your troop camping, and these courses fill up fast! Prepare now for camping in the fall. Camp Skills Workshop
Once per year the Trefoil Guild runs the "Camp Skills Workshop", an alternative approach to troop camp training certification which allows leaders to study up on assigned camping skills, and then teach those skills to girls at an outdoor skills day in October, which the full troop attends. Attendance at both the planning session and outdoor day is required. For a full description of the event, fees, and registration information click here
