Gamma Sigma Challenge for Juniors
April 26, 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Hebron High School

Program Aide Leadership Training
May 15, 5:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

All Cadettes are invited to participate in the new, improved Program Aide Leadership Training. The revised course is now only four hours long and provides the necessary tools to prepare you for your role as a Program Aide. Come gain fun and exciting skills to assist you in mentoring younger girls. Click here for more information.
Program Aide Facilitators Needed
We are looking for volunteers to facilitate the new, improved Program Aide Leadership Training. Your support and energy will instill girls’ confidence that will last a lifetime through this course. There are many volunteer opportunities available to fit any schedule for facilitating the Program Aide Leadership Course.

Mobile Shops
April 12 and April 26
Our Mobile Shop at Annual Meeting on April 12 will feature great Girl Scout and Tejas Rider items, and the Gamma Sigma mobile shop on April 26 will be open for the duration of the event! Place an order in advance with Rhonda Curry at and we’ll have it ready for pick up at either of the mobile shop events.
Council-Wide Bridging Packs
If your Girl Scouts are participating in the Council Wide Bridging, come to a GSNETX store for your bridging packets. Packets include a certificate, membership star with disc and the bridging award. Call your store in advance and we’ll have your order ready for you to pick up.
Time Sensitive Reminder
If you have Cookie Dough cards from 2012 or 2013, they expire on June 1, 2014. Make sure your Girl Scouts use their Cookie Dough before the cookie crumbles!
Camp is For You Packs
Don’t forget to order your camper’s “Camp is for You!” package.  The price for the complete camp package is $36, but if we receive your order by April 12, we will take $5 off the package price.

Get Moving!
April 25-27 at Camp Whispering Cedars
Get Moving! Journey for Girl Scout Juniors is a great opportunity for the girls to enjoy the outdoors and put their energy to work. One of the sessions will be conducted by the Perot Museum of Nature and Science Staff.  Girls will complete most of the activities to for the Journey with the exception of the Take Action project. Whistle Stop Weekends
April 4 - 6 at Camp Bette Perot
Have you ever wanted to knock out 3 or 4 training classes in one single weekend? What if that included your Troop Camping Certification, too?

Participate in our nationally recognized workshop “Letting Girls Lead” and grade level round tables. You can choose a leadership track which includes PB & J and Inspiring Action or the outdoor track and complete course 301: GSNETX Camping.  Come spend the weekend with us and have fun with your fellow adult volunteers. Annual Meeting and Adult Recognition Event
April 12 at Eddie Deen's Ranch
Girl Scouts and guests attending the Annual Meeting and Adult Recognition Event will be able to enjoy Eddie Deen's Ranch in Downtown Dallas! Unique photo opportunities, a silent auction that will benefit girl programs at Camp Bette Perot, and our mobile shop will be available to all participants as well as information on the varied opportunities to be engaged as an adult Girl Scout. Real Outdoor Women (ROW)
May 2-4 at Camp Rocky Point
If you love being outdoors and are looking for an opportunity to network with other leaders and learn some new skills, then ROW is for you!  Learn advanced cooking skills and activities that you can take back to your troop. Some of the classes offered are Team Building in the Outdoors, Fossil Hunting, STEM in the Outdoors, Campsites & Camp Boxes and much more.
