Other Exciting Opportunities!
Remember to ask your customers to donate packages of cookies to our military at door-to-door and booth sales! Troops who reach a PGA of 10 for our military donation initiative Project Troop to Troop (T2T) will receive a patch for each girl.
NEW! Troops with a T2T PGA of 20 will earn an American Flag and laminated flag ceremony instructions. Troops that reach a T2T PGA of 35 will receive the cozy Samoas scarf for each girl!

BLING YOUR BOOTH!! This year the theme is Project Troop to Troop. The girls must decorate their retail or mobile door-to-door (donation box, wagon, etc.) booth with military/T2T décor, have someone take their photo at the booth, and upload the photo to the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas Facebook page by February 17th. You will have until March 7th to “like” your favorite photo. The most likes wins! Winner will be announced on March 28th.

The price of the Girls’ Guide to Girl Scouting has been permanently reduced to $16.85! The savings also lowers the price of the complete Starter Kit. New girls, or girls bridging to a new level, should get started with their own starter kit.

The fun patch for GSNETX Girl Scout Week activities will be in the stores at the end of February. You can go ahead and place an order with your GSNETX store, and they will call you when they arrive. There are fun activities so make sure to participate in the celebration.

Accenture Leadership Workshop
Saturday, February 15
Girl Scouts 15 and older are invited to attend a unique leadership workshop provided by Accenture at their Irving location. Led by Accenture professionals, the workshop will include two "Future Focus" topics that focus on Team Building and Critical Thinking Skills, as well as a tour of their facility. IGNITE Young Women’s Leadership Conference

Council-Wide Bridging Ceremony- May 17!
Girls and familied will ‘bridge’ across the Trinity River and spend the day earning the newest fun patches, beginning their first badge in their new Program Grade Level, taking part in Girl Scout traditions, and more! Gamma Sigma Challenge for Juniors
April 26 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Hebron High School
Come together to explore a day filled with fun hands-on activities in STEM, Healthy Living, Financial Literacy, and Outdoor Leadership! Registration now open! Registration fee is $10 and includes a t-shirt for both girls and adults. This event will end with a closing mixer for everyone with music, food trucks, great prizes and FUN! Breathe Journey at Camp Whispering Cedars
March 21-23, 2014
GSNETX will host this STEM-focused Journey weekend featuring the Breathe Leadership Journey, a pre-requisite for the girls to earn the Silver Award. Girls will complete most of the Journey while at camp. For more information and to register click here for more information.
The GeoScouting Camp Whispering Cedars App has Launched!

Letting Girls Lead

"Letting Girl’s Lead" is GSNETX's nationally recognized workshop for helping leaders to know what Girl Led looks and sounds like, while equipping them with some techniques and skills to do it. This workshop has been selected to be presented at the National Convention in Salt Lake City in October for $60 a head, but YOU can attend it for absolutely free right here at home in Allen on Saturday, March 8th.
