It's easy for you donate to GSNETX with three simple donation programs: Kroger Neighbor to Neighbor Donation Program, Tom Thumb/Randalls Good Neighbor Program, and Members Give. Each program contributes a portion of purchases to GSNETX. Find more information about the programs here.
Matching Gifts & Volunteer Incentive Programs
Double Your Gift! A Matching Gift is an excellent way to increase you contribution to Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas. Your gift could be matched dollar-for-dollar by your employer (spouses and retirees may also be eligible). Companies may also offer to match volunteer time contributed to nonprofit organizations through a Volunteer Incentive Program. Some employers match gifts and volunteer time up to $10,000 per calendar year! New Camp Sessions!
Camp Rocky Point will now be open from July 21-26. Due to popular demand, an additional week of It's All Greek! is now open for registration. Rocky's Bronze Games, Rock Your World, and Water Wonderland have been designed for girls entering 2nd-12th grade who want to work on a Journey at camp or learn about what it takes to earn their Bronze, Silver, or Gold award while also having a blast making new friends, swimming, kayaking, and much, much more. Labor Day Family Camp 2013

Camp Merchandise
The $40 camp package includes a camp t-shirt, bath towel, military style cap, tote bag, patch and a flexible water bottle are still available. Shops will also carry other camping essentials: mess kits, cutlery, mosquito netting and more--along with an adorable line of s'mores related gifts perfect to send along with your camper! If you are dropping your camper off to ride a bus to camp, please note that the JoAnn Fogg shop will be open for last minute camp purchases!
Shop Closings & Summer Hours
Summer Hours for all GSNETX shops will run from June 3rd through August 2nd. Please check the website for your specific shop location. All GSNETX shops will also be closed June 24th - 29th for inventory. In order to serve you better, you may call, email or fax your order to one of our shops. We will have your order ready for you to pay and go, or we can ship directly to you. We know your time is valuable and we are here to help!

FC Dallas Soccer Girl Scout Night!
Come join in on the fun at FC Dallas stadium where you will receive over 50% off on sideline tickets and a chance to be part of our on field pre-game "Rally Tunnel". This is the girls' chance of participating in forming a human tunnel for the players to walk out through and receiving high fives from the players. Included is also the opportunity to watch pre-game warm ups. Join the fun at FC Dallas Stadium and watch FC Dallas and Real Salt Lake play!

Moon Day 2013!
Explore space! Moon Day is an annual celebration of space exploration, aligned with the anniversary of the first lunar landing that uses inflatable planetariums, exhibits, displays, classes, lectures and movies to showcase local space-related museums, organizations and companies in North Texas.

 History Museum Explorers Patch!
Explore museums around Dallas! The History Museum Explorers patch is a progressive patch to encourage girls to use their critical thinking to discover what a museum is and to connect with their communities as they learn the history of the local museum in our council jurisdiction. From June 1st to September 1st, Girl Scouts will have the
 opportunity to participate in the 2013 Summer Reading Program. By participating in this program girls will discover the world around them, connect with other cultures globally, and expand their horizons. The Summer Reading Program is designed to encourage your Girl Scout to read. As with all activities, parents should be comfortable with the reading material their children choose. Once girls have fulfilled the requirements, a patch may be purchased at any of our Girl Scout shops. For more information, go to www.gsnetx.org/summerreading.

MetLife/GSUSA Hispanic Leadership Fund: GSNETX is pleased to announce that we have accepted the MetLife/GSUSA Project for our 2014 membership year! This is the second year in a row where volunteers will be conducting 6-8 week series in selected high Hispanic potential middle schools across council focusing on bully prevention through our aMAZE! journey and Be a Friend First (BFF) new curriculum. Our goal is to transition our series girls into traditional troops. We are currently seeking adult volunteers that would like to facilitate a series and support the long-term sustainability. Did You Know?
Dad's, granddads and other male volunteers are welcome to be Girl Scout volunteers! They can be great Troop Leaders (01 or 02), Troop Cookie Managers among many other ways they can volunteer. The requirement for female leadership for a troop/group of girls is that one of the leaders or safety-wise adults must be an adult female. So make sure to welcome the guys! All volunteers must become Girl Scout adult members, complete the application & screening process and complete Girl Scouting 101 - orientation training.

Summer Recruitment and Engagement
We know that summer is here and a time to relax but it is also a good, non-stressful time to renew membership for the 2014 Membership Year. This helps you start the new year off already prepared to dive into troop activities and adventures. Members can log in and renew online by following the Five Steps listed below.Still have questions if you have tried online? How do I register online? Follow these 5 Easy Steps to completing your online registration:
Step 1: Log in to your eBiz account at www.gsnetx.org/myaccount
Step 2: Locate the Membership Info section on the left side of the screen under the menu & click the "Renew Membership" button
Step 3: Complete the online Membership Renewal order form
Step 4: Enter valid credit card information and click "process payment"
Step 5: Check your email for confirmation
Additionally, summer is a great time to think about becoming a volunteer as a Troop Leader, Assistant Troop Leader or Service Unit Team member. There are a lot of great ways that you can help support girls in their journey to becoming the leaders of tomorrow so please contact one of our Membership Specialists if you have any questions about what that would involve and how to sign up.
