It's easy for you donate to GSNETX with three simple donation programs: Kroger Neighbor to Neighbor Donation Program, Tom Thumb/Randalls Good Neighbor Program, and Members Give. Each program contributes a portion of purchases to GSNETX. Find more information about the programs here.
Matching Gifts & Volunteer Incentive Programs
Double Your Gift! A Matching Gift is an excellent way to increase you contribution to Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas. Your gift could be matched dollar-for-dollar by your employer (spouses and retirees may also be eligible). Companies may also offer to match volunteer time contributed to nonprofit organizations through a Volunteer Incentive Program. Some employers match gifts and volunteer time up to $10,000 per calendar year! Did You Know That it's Not Too Late to Register for Summer Camp?
Girl Scout Summer Camp is a place of NON-STOP FUN where girls can make new friends, seek challenges, expand horizons, and learn leadership skills in a fun and safe environment. Visit www.gsnetx.org/camp to learn more and see the sessions being offered at each camp this summer.
Camp Rocky Point will now be open from July 21-26. Due to popular demand, an additional week of It's All Greek! is now open for registration. Rocky's Bronze Games, Rock Your World, and Water Wonderland have been designed for girls entering 2nd-12th grade who want to work on a Journey at camp or learn about what it takes to earn their Bronze, Silver, or Gold award while also having a blast making new friends, swimming, kayaking, and much, much more. Summer Service Opportunity
Are you looking for service opportunities during the summer? Consider volunteering with North Texas Food Bank. During the summer, they have a high need for food donations as well as volunteers to package food. Summer Reading Program
From June 1st to September 1st, Girl Scouts will have the opportunity to participate in the 2013 Summer Reading Program. By participating in this program girls will discover the world around them, connect with other cultures globally, and expand their horizons. The Summer Reading Program is designed to encourage your Girl Scout to read. As with all activities, parents should be comfortable with the reading material their children choose. Once girls have fulfilled the requirements, a patch may be purchased at any of our Girl Scout shops. For more information, go to www.gsnetx.org/summerreading.
Register for Money Camp!
Cash, Moolah, Dough! Whatever you call it, knowing how to manage it and make smart choices is critical. Junior Girl Scouts (4-5th graders) are invited to spend the week earning their Business Owner and Savvy Shopper badges! Go to www.gsnetx.org/moneycamp for more information.

Shop Closings & Summer Hours
GSNETX shops will begin summer hours June 3rd. Please check the website for your specific shop location hours and lunch closings. All GSNETX shops will also be closed June 24th - 29th for inventory and will be closed July 4th. In order to serve you better, you may call, email or fax your order to one of our shops. We will have your order ready for you to pay and go, or we can ship directly to you. We know your time is valuable and we are here to help!

If you are dropping your Girl Scout off for camp, please note that the JoAnn Fogg shop will be open for business during the allotted bus drop off times. Stop in for last minute camping supplies or a surprise gift for your camper!

MetLife/GSUSA Hispanic Leadership Fund: GSNETX is pleased to announce that we have accepted the MetLife/GSUSA Project for our 2014 membership year! This is the second year in a row where we will be conducting 6-8 week series in selected high Hispanic potential middle schools across council focusing on bully prevention through our aMAZE! journey and Be a Friend First (BFF) new curriculum. Then Meadow's Foundation: The Meadows Foundation grant will help GSNETX continue to build the infrastructure for council-wide readiness to serve new Hispanic families and girls, increase the number of Hispanic girls and adults served, reach equity in Hispanic girls and adults, and remain inclusive across cultures. Service Unit and Troop Financial Reports:
As we are winding down and heading into summer, please remember to submit your financial reports. All financial reports will need to be completed and submitted by June 15 th. You can download the service unit financial report form and troop financial report form from the Forms section of the GSNETX website. To submit your troop financial report online, click here.
