She learns goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics-aspects essential to leadership, to success, and to life! Selling cookies is directly related to our mission of building girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place and is a key part of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. Girls learn life skills and are able to accomplish their goals while having fun!
Now is the time to get involved in the Girl Scout Cookie Program!
To participate in the 2013 Cookie Program, you must be a registered member & complete the Parent Permission & Responsibility Form. You can re-register for Girl Scouts by contacting your Membership Specialist.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT |
Sign Up Now to be a Council Delegate
Girl Scout Service Units are currently in the process of electing Council Delegates. The number of delegates each service unit may elect is based on a formula dependent on the total number of girls registered last year. As a Council Delegate, you will receive information about our council's governance system and the role you play in the democratic process of Girl Scouts. You will be required to attend the April 13th Annual Meeting, to be held in the morning at the Dallas Arboretum. As a representative of your Service Unit, Delegates will hear first-hand the work of the Board of Directors over the past year and will officially elect the new Board of Directors and the Board Development Committee.
If you're interested in becoming a Council Delegate, please contact your Service Unit Manager. For additional information, please contact Jenifer Moreau at jmoreau@gsnetx.org or (972) 349-2430. Please note, all Delegate/Alternate information is due to council by Friday, February 22, 2013. | |
